- Dendrobium farmeri var. pink is the pink form of this orchid species originally found growing in South East Asia. This species is an eager bloomer producing several sprays during its blooming season from spring to early summer.
Although this orchid prefers warm temperatures 75-85F, this species can grow well in intermediate temperatures with plenty of light. For ideal growing conditions, place plants in partial shade and pot with medium sized bark. Water regularly in the summer and reduce in the winter until new growths appear. In the late fall, this adorable orchid will begin to lose its leaves and will then produce clusters of fragrant, tiny white and light violet flowers on newly bare canes.
